Britain’s inner cities which are
currently neglected by the present county-based
structure; Initial completion to be in
North London and then model to be implemented
countrywide. |

the dream to cricketers outside the county
system of fast-tracking to the top. |
To exploit
the potential of 20-over cricket. |
To benefit
the social fabric in Britain by bringing
the three principal communities (native
white, British Asian and Afro-Caribbean)
together in one of their few areas of common
interest, cricket |
